Born and raised in Miami, Dr. Z’s journey toward medicine began at Belen Jesuit Preparatory School, where he developed a strong foundation in leadership and service. He went on to earn a full scholarship as a Park Scholar at North Carolina State University, where his commitment to excellence and community deepened. After completing his undergraduate studies, Dr. Z earned his medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine, becoming fluent in both English and Spanish—an asset that allows him to care for a diverse patient population with cultural sensitivity and clarity.

Following medical school, Dr. Z completed a five-year general surgery residency at the University of New Mexico, where he refined his surgical precision and developed a meticulous eye for detail. He then pursued advanced training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Cleveland Clinic Florida, one of the nation’s leading medical institutions. His education culminated in a cosmetic surgery fellowship sponsored by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, after which he became one of the nation’s few quadruple board-certified surgeons—a distinction that underscores his dedication to mastery in his field.

As Medical Director of Hydrology Wellness, Dr. Z combines his extensive medical and surgical expertise with a patient-first philosophy to create personalized, results-driven care plans. His work spans a wide range of services, from non-surgical facial rejuvenation and body contouring to comprehensive hormone and weight management programs. A published author in peer-reviewed journals and frequent presenter at medical conferences, Dr. Z remains at the forefront of advancements in both aesthetic and wellness medicine. His excellence has earned him recognition among the “10 Best” Plastic Surgeons in Florida for patient satisfaction, along with active membership in multiple professional medical organizations.

Hugo holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Business from Florida International University and a Master's Degree in International Hospitality Management from Cesar Ritz Colleges. He brings over 10 years of management experience from the hospitality and fitness industries.

Outside of work, Hugo enjoys watching and playing basketball, traveling to new places and experiencing different cultures and cuisines, and even exploring local breweries when visiting new cities. When at home, Hugo enjoys the company of his spouse, Rahman (also from Puerto Rico!), and their energetic one-year-old German Wirehaired Pointer, Kofi.

Maria’s expertise spans comprehensive facial balancing with neuromodulators and dermal fillers, biostimulatory injectables, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and regenerative therapies, laser rejuvenation, microneedling RF, and body contouring. She is also skilled in bioidentical hormone optimization, peptide therapy, and sexual wellness and weight-management programs—helping patients restore energy, balance, and vitality from the inside out.
